Towards a spiritual Christmas
Some days before Christmas, I was making a reflection about Christmas. How the purpose changed from time to time in the mind of people. As I grew up, I could see that it became more and more focus on materials. Today when you talk about Christmas, the first thing that came into the mind of mostly everybody is “what gift are you going to get??”
What I wanted this year was something more special, a spiritual Christmas. Living a Christmas with the real spirit of mostly giving rather than receiving. For people that have never experienced it before, giving give you more joy than receiving.
The next day I received a mail from one of my friend, Brian. He was touched by an article in the newspaper about some women that will celebrate Christmas alone and with almost nothing to eat. He wanted to do something for them on the 25 of December. I said to myself that it was a reply to my prayers, so without hesitation I said yes.
On the 25 we were about 15 present. The ladies were very pleased to see us and they told us that they were touched by our action. I was feeling so glad to be present there to give them a little bit of my time. I have this marvelous feeling of feeling that my presence was so important. They make us visits their house which was still made with corrugated iron sheets. They were the only houses like that; their neighbors were all having some beautiful villa.
What I’ve learned from that journey is that you can possess everything you want, but if you have no one to share it with it is useless. The power of sharing is such a grace that we should cultivate

I am very proud of you my little brother. It is true that a little time of our time can made someone the happiest person on earth.
May God bless you and all your friends that believe in you.
Take care
